Physical appearance: Let's see... she has blue skin and brown eyes. Her hair is silver, and spikey-like. Two strands of hair float over her ears and a long strand of hair droops over her face. She has a black scar over her left eye, a black diamond tattoo on her forehead that touches the tip of the bridge of her nose, and a tattoo of a black upside-down pentagon with five spikes surrounding it on her right cheek. She wears a dark gray Guardian uniform that is torn up in many places with black boots. The sleeves and the left pants leg were ripped off. An eighth note tattoo is on her left arm over her pale pink keytool named MPEG. She always wears a silver eighth note medallion around her neck. Her golden Guardian icon is above her chest. Black scars are all over her body from her various battles.

Origins/Background: Midi is Bob's younger sister by a year. She lived with her parents and Bob. She looked up to her older sister, Vibe, who hade become a Guardian. She, like Bob, wanted to be a Guardian like their parents and their older sister. She and Mouse were childhood friends and Mouse often protected her from bullies.

Midi was always happy until she turned 1.0 when her parents were murdered along with Mouse's mother by a Viral Guardian named Vira, who was really their older sister Vibe. During that time, Midi was given her eighth-note pendant by Bob as a present. After their parents were killed, Midi went into a depression, but Bob helped her through it. Midi and Bob were sent to an orphanage when they were old enough to become Guardian Cadets.

A few months later, she left the Super Computer to her new system: Panasonic. That was where she met her boyfriend Techno and his mother, Musica, who was the Command.Com of the system. Midi loved living in Panasonic, but Vibe attacked the system. Vibe deleted everyone except Midi and Techno. The two escaped to the Super Computer with various injuries. Midi gained some of her old scars including the one over her eye from Vibe and Techno lost his arm and leg. Midi and Techno soon became Virus Hunters to find Vibe and stop her. They fight other viruses and delete, but when they see Vibe, she disappears in a flash of light, leaving the two alone. They soon join up with Dixon's little sister Kendrix and her dog Fiona and they become fast friends.

Midi, Techno, Kendrix and Fiona were some of the last people to be taken over by Daemon, but they were freed by Hexadecimal's sacrifice. Midi and Techno went back to their hunts, but stopped when they learned of Megabyte's return to Mainframe. The two lovers headed to Mainframe and helped Bob and the Mainframers stop Megabyte. Midi was badly injured in the fight as were Matrix and Dot, so they were brought to the Super Computer to get healed. That was when Midi learned, in a very bad way, that Hexadecimal had resided in her body when she fragemented, so she was very angry when hex appeared out of her body in front of her. Midi, Techno, Kendrix and Fiona then joined Bob and the gang and headed back to Mainframe.

Two weeks after they came to Mainframe, Vibe attacked Bob, injuring him badly. Midi than went into a depression, then went insane when she found Vibe in the next game she went into. The two sisters fought throughout the game and outside of it. It soon lead to a stalemate under Mainframe when Midi gathered all of her strength and concentrated all of MPEG's power to heal Vibe in one last blast.

Everyone, including Bob, thought that Midi was deleated in the blast, but Midi emerged from the sewer with a reborn and 0.1 Vibe. Midi then volunteered to take care of Vibe as Bob and Dot got married and went on their honeymoon. Midi now resides in Mainframe with her lover, her brother and sister and is now happy for the first time in her life.


When?: Season 5

Personality: She has a short temper and a deep hatred towards viruses. She loves her brother and sister and her friends deeply and would give up her life to protect them. She gets upset every now and then when she remembers her life and how she couldn't help her parents when she was little. She is a bit anti-social to strangers, but when she sees her friends, she becomes sociable.

Skills: She has her keytool MPEG, which has all the regular powers of a keytool. She knows gymnastics and has a wide knowledge in fighting and usage of swords thanks to Techno.

Weaknesses/Bad Habits: She has a bad temper, her anger sometimes clouds her judgement. Has a tendency to do things by the seat of her pants, just like her older brother.

Likes: Her family and friends, playing with Fiona, working out, hunting down viruses, singing, and playing matchmaker every now and then.

Dislikes: Megabyte, Hexadecimal (when she first meets her), Daemon, Vibe and and other viruses, Matrix's attitude, Rap music and her inability to control her anger.

Catchphrases: "Ya wanna start something?" "FAQ off, Virus."


Cast relationships

  • Bob: They are siblings, how can she hate him? She loves him more than anything. She admires how far he has gotten as a Guardian and is thankful that he is still alive. There is one thing she can't stand about him - his car.

  • Dot: She knows that Dot loves Bob and Bob loves Dot, so she keeps trying to hook them up on dates. She hates Dot's workaholic attitude and tries to get her to lighten up.

  • Phong: Likes his wisdom every now and then. Also, she loves the fact that she can beat him at Pong anytime.

  • Enzo: Amazed that someone like him can have so much energy to do what he does. Thinks he can be annoying at some times, but loves him like a little brother.

  • Hexadecimal: Hated her when she first met her, but after the deal with Vibe, she now has a great respect for her.

  • Megabyte: He's a virus, he killed her best friend, he tried to kill Bob, what do you think?

  • Matrix: Although he may be the bigger version of Enzo, Midi doesn't like him a lot. She tends to call him "Big Green", but she thinks he needs some serious anger managment. They always tend to have lots of shouting matches.

  • AndrAIa: Midi thinks AndrAIa is OK. She likes how she can fight and stand up for herself. Andi likes the fact that although Midi has been through hard times, she can always keep on fighting.

  • Mouse: Childhood friends. Mouse looked after her when they were little, but now Midi and Mouse can both fight at the same level. They can have great conversations and they both love trying to play matchmaker.

  • Ray: Midi likes him as a friend. She thinks he is an amazing person. She also thinks that he is a great surfer.
